Embrace a Day of Heartfelt Connection and Spiritual Renewal

Step into a transformative experience dedicated to those who nurture the souls of others. Join us for a day infused with love, mindfulness, and connection, beginning with an inspiring keynote by the visionary Dr. Vaishali Mamgain, Director of the Bertha Crosley Ball Center for Compassion.

Savor a revitalizing lunch from St. Joseph's wonderfully diverse cafeteria, followed by your choice of two enlightening breakout sessions. Each session is crafted to enhance your journey of self-discovery, deepen your connections, and encourage meaningful conversations amidst the tranquil surroundings of St. Joseph's beautiful campus on the banks of Sebago Lake.

Our intention is for you to leave feeling rejuvenated, reawakened, and in harmony with your true self!

To ensure everyone interested can partake in this uplifting experience, we offer admission on a sliding scale ($25-$100).

For those unable to join us in person, we will be live streaming the morning program, including Dr. Mamgain's insightful keynote for $35/ticket.

Father's Day Weekend Church Bake Sale, Buy a pie and get a free men's necktie. Homemade bake goods to include a variety of pies, sweet breads, whoopie pies, cakes, brownies, cookies, fudge, baked beans, yeast rolls, biscuits and so much more.

Come join us as we gather around the bonfire in the campground, sharing stories and releasing challenges of this last year while surrounded among friends we know and friends we just haven’t met yet. We often make ourselves aware of the earth’s directions and their meaning.

Generally, we also share a song or two! Then we honor the earth’s trip around the sun with a releasing of challenges we may have experienced throughout the year. We often do this by writing these down on a piece of paper and releasing them into the fire.

Afterwards we will share what we hope to bring in this year as the earth makes its journey around the sun. These may be at the personal, community or national level.

Join us Sunday, August 3rd at 2pm for the 99th annual Pilgrimage Service of the Elder Grey Meeting House and explore a piece of the North Waterboro's history. Visit https://eldergrey.org to learn more about this historical landmark.
Every year on the first Sunday in August, neighbors, extended families, individuals with historic ties and/or a special interest in the North Waterboro community, or just plain local history buffs, gather for what has traditionally been called a Pilgrimage Service at the Elder Grey Meeting House. Except for the dress of those in attendance and the cars parked along both sides of the lovely old country road, this scene could have occurred one or two hundred years ago
In the early 1900s, after years of only sporadic use of the Elder Grey Meeting House for Christmas events and evangelical Sundays, a group of neighbors and descendants of those who attended services there in the last century were concerned about the possible deterioration of the meeting house and cemetery from neglect. They decided to hold a "Pilgrimage Service" on August 29, 1926, "to commemorate the restoration of the Old Meeting House to its original condition as our fathers worshiped in it."
Ever since that notable occasion, a Pilgrimage Service has been held each year, now always on the first Sunday afternoon in August.
